About Tara
Tara is an assemblage artist living in Bethesda, MD with her husband of 28 years, and their two dogs. They have two children. Their oldest son lives in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and their youngest is about to graduate from college.
Born and raised in the US Virgin Islands, her soul is fed by the sea and sand, and color is her best friend. While she has always embraced the creative side of herself, pursuing her passion for making art started after a career in solid waste management policy and the birth of her children. After moving to DC, marrying and having two children, she turned to Interior Design for a number of years. It was following an art retreat and workshop that she found her true heart's calling and began the transition to artist. She now devotes as much time as she can to improving her craft and learning new ways of creating. Follow her imagination into the world of mixed media. Currently her work is
